The map of Alaska shows boundaries for National Parks and Refuges, National Forests, Petroleum Preserves, Indian Reservations, State Parks and Forests, Wilderness Areas and Boroughs. It also has a complete index to towns and villages printed on the front side of the map. Small symbols indicate State Critical Habitat areas, State Game Refuges, Lighthouses and Military Airports. Their is shading to indicate mountain ranges, and the Aleutian island chain is continuous.
