The Pacific NW Old Growth Forest is an illustrated picture with typical flora and fauna found in this environment. The latin name and common name are given for 26 selected species. Amongst the branches of Western Red Cedar, Sitka Spruce and other stately trees find the Douglas Squirrel, Pileated Woodpecker, Stellar's Jay, and numerous other birds and mammals peering out. Understory vegetation and woodland wildflowers decorate the foreground.
