Pasayten Wilderness Map - WA
The Pasayten Wilderness map is a double sided topographical map showing 40' contour intervals. The trail system is clearly shown with black dashed lines and trail numbers. The Pasayten was designated Wilderness in 1968 by the same congressional act that created the neighboring North Cascades Natonal Park Complex. Before then it was a primitive area used by miners, trappers, hunters, recreationists and stockmen. Evidence of that past use, including many miles of maintained and abandoned trails, is still plentiful.
