Wallowa - Whitman National Forest Map - OR

The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest of northeastern Oregon ranges from the Blue Mountains and rugged Wallowa Mountains down to the spectacular canyon country of the Snake River on the Idaho border, also includes Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. At 2,521,280 acres, it is the largest National Forest administrative unit in the Pacific Northwest Region.  Numerous sites and evidence of old mining, logging and railroading camps can still be found.
