Key Biscayne, FL Woodchart

This Nautical 3D Woodchart of Key Biscayne is created from layers of carved birch wood to create a 3D bathymetric chart, the precision cuts of wood illustrate the depths of the lakes and the shape of the coastlines. It comes complete with a solid wood frame that is ready to hang on the wall. Towns, rivers, islands, inlets and depths are noted.

Lying just south of Miami, Key Biscayne is the southernmost of the barrier islands along Florida's Atlantic coast. Although it's named "Key", it isn't part of the Keys, it's actually a barrier island made from sand that's eroded from the Appalachian Mountains, carried to the coast by rivers, and then moved south by coastal currents.

Points of Interest will include: Biscayne Bay, Cape Florida, Calusa Park, Crandon Park, Hurricane Harbor, Miami Seaquarium, NOAA Library, and Virginia Key.
