Lake Okoboji, IA Woodchart

Located in northwestern Iowa, Spirit Lake and the two Okoboji lakes are collectively known as "The Iowa Great Lakes". 
They are the largest natural lakes in the state of Iowa.
The region, which is often referred to simply as Okoboji, is a popular destination for fishermen, both in summer and winter, as well as being one of Iowa's most popular vacation destinations.

Created from layers of carved birch wood to create a 3D bathymetric chart, the precision cuts of wood illustrate the depths of the lakes and the shape of the coastlines.
It comes complete with a solid wood frame that is ready to hang on the wall. Towns, rivers, islands, inlets and depths are noted.
