Nicollet Illuminated World Globe 16"

Nicollet Globe is a 16" diameter desk globe, larger in size than most desk globes. It features clear, easy to read National Geographic cartography, and hardwood base, and die-cast copper plated meridian that is calibrated with latitudinal degree numbers. It is illuminated using an LED bulb, with an electric cord (not shown in picture) that emerges from the lower axis of the globe. Two directional turning is possible, ie the map can rotate and spin. The globe is named in honor of explorer/geographer Jean-Nicolas Nicollet.
