Located in Montgomery County, Texas, Lake Conroe is a reservoir built in 1973. On the West Fork of the San Jacinto River, It is about one hour north of Houston, and has some of the most valuable and sought-after real estate in the Houston Metropolitan area.

Created from layers of carved birch wood to create a 3D bathymetric chart, the precision cuts of wood illustrate the depths of the lakes and the shape of the coastlines.
