The small US Raised Relief shows the lower 48 states and part of Mexico and Canada.
Prominent features are the Appalachian Mountain chain and the vast mountainous and high desert areas of the West.
The Sacramento Valley and San Joaquin valley drop in dramatic contrast to the bordering Sierras.
The Colorado River traces a deep winding trench of the gorge of the Grand Canyon.

Others features shown are rivers, towns, and state borders. The scale is 1" = approximately 131 miles.
