Marie Tharp's Floor of the Oceans Map

Marie Tharp (with Bruce Heezen) created the first accurate map of the ocean floor, a project started in the 1950's. This map was published in 1980, but is still relevant today.
The islands, ocean crests, trenches and continental shelves are highly illustrated!
The most accurate depiction of the world's ocean floor is with the Marie Tharp maps.
