This antique reprint map originally drawn by C.J. Sauthier is a detailed record of urban settlement in the northeast at the height of the Revolution. 

It includes the area between Boston to the East and Cayuga Lake to the West, showing roads, forts, rivers, mountains and lakes with impeccable accuracy.

Of special interest is the depiciton on the upper Connecticut River and Lake Champlain regions, with Vermont being shown as part of New York.
