One of the Nature Conservancy's "Last Great Places", 44% of Block Island located in Rhode Island is a dedicated nature preserve.
Created from layers of carved birch wood to create a 3D bathymetric chart, the precision cuts of wood illustrate the depths of the lakes and the shape of the coastlines.
It comes complete with a solid wood frame that is ready to hang on the wall.
Towns, rivers, islands, inlets and depths are noted.
